Music education classes for very young children, based on the theory of Professor Edwin E. Gordon, designed for children from the very first months of life.

During the sessions, the children engage with music through singing, movement and playing simple instruments. It is a shared experience in which not only the music is important, but also the relationship between the children and the teacher, and being attentive to the children’s reactions.

The sessions have a relaxed, free-flowing atmosphere. Children can move at their own pace, respond to sounds and engage in ways that come naturally to them. They are accompanied by a carer who takes an active part in the session.

Gordonki help to develop hearing, a sense of rhythm and musical sensitivity, whilst also creating a space for spending time together and building connections.

The sessions are aimed at children aged 0 to 3 and last 45 minutes.

Collective sensoplasty

Sensory activities for very young children, based on exploring the world freely through touch, movement, smell and a variety of textures.

Sensory play is a form of activity that engages several senses at once and supports a child’s development through experience. Children explore materials, mix them, touch them and observe them, whilst developing their curiosity, creativity and independence.

The sessions are open-ended and child-led. There is no single ‘right’ way to do things — what matters is how the child experiences and responds. As a result, each session is slightly different and tailored to individual needs.

We work with safe materials that we prepare ourselves, which are suitable for very young children.

The classes are aimed at children aged between 6 months and 3 years and last 45 minutes.

Classes for very young children that support sensory development through movement, touch and safe exploration of their surroundings.

This is a time when your little one can experience a variety of stimuli at their own pace, developing basic skills relating to sensation, balance and coordination. The sessions are calm and follow the child’s lead, and take place with the active involvement of a carer.

The sessions are led by a sensory integration therapist, who ensures that the activities are appropriately selected and that a safe environment is provided for exploration.

The sessions are designed for children aged between 6 and 18 months and last 45 minutes.

Language classes for very young children, which introduce them to English through play, movement and everyday experiences.

Creative English is based on natural exposure to the language. Children learn through exposure to songs, rhythm, simple messages and activities that engage the senses, without pressure and without the need to ‘study’ in the traditional sense.

The sessions are relaxed and engaging, and support not only language development but also concentration, memory and intellectual curiosity. A carer is present throughout, which fosters a sense of security and helps the child to join in the activities naturally.

The classes are aimed at children aged between 6 months and 3 years and last 45 minutes.

Sensory overload – symptoms, causes and ways of coping

Sensory overload is a condition in which the nervous system receives more stimuli than it is able to process effectively. It can affect anyone, but is particularly common amongst highly sensitive people, those with neurodiversity, and those living under chronic stress. It manifests itself both physically and mentally, affecting day-to-day functioning, relationships and well-being. In […]

The first few years of a child’s life are a time of rapid development and of discovering the world through all the senses.

At the DIALOG Centre for Children and Families, activities for the youngest children are led by specialists who understand the importance of a relaxed, safe environment and of being mindful of each child’s pace. They create a space where children can explore, respond and develop in a natural way.

We focus not only on the programme of activities, but above all on the atmosphere and the quality of interaction. As a result, every session supports the child’s development, whilst strengthening their bond with their carer and providing a sense of security.
